Serpents & Doves is the brainchild of lighting cameraman and producer - Phil Mash. His award winning work expands across feature films, drama, commercials and promos to broadcast television.
Brief:- to design & develop a website that would reflect the duality of his work within the film industry.
Serpents & Doves is taken from a biblical recital "so be as shrewd as serpents and as innocent as doves". The 'Serpents' side of Phil's work is seen as the shrewd, commercial side of film making, where as the 'Doves' side is best represented by his passion for his film company specialising in films for charities.
They set about creating 2 micro sites that run in sync with each other, accessible through a dual gateway allowing users to choose between the lighting cameraman or film company.
Hot colours define each genre whilst Flash streaming video incorporates high resolution, full screen options further maximizing the impact of Phil's work. The simple and clean typographical approach allowed us to give Phil's work a strong sense of identity.
